  1. Volunteers were requested to occupy the seven committee seats for 2003.  Robin McCullagh kindly put his name forward.

  2. The dearth of committee meetings was lamented by some - today's was only the second of the year.  However, it was agreed that the business was being taken care of adequately.

  4. On behalf of P-DLM and the Johnstown/Killiney Active Retirement Association, Matt Coleman has submitted to the Senior Citizens Parliament a prioritization of the latter's 2003 budget proposals, based on the P-DLM discussions earlier this year.  Good work.

  5. Via Matt, the "Dun Laogaire-Rathdown County Community Forum" is seeking a volunteer to represent P-DLM.  Paddy Long kindly put his name forward.

  6. Members were asked if there were too many speakers or they spoke for too long.  The consensus was that

bullet

there are not too many speakers, though would like to

bullet

see more club members speaking speakers should be
limited to 30 minutes plus 15 minutes for questions.

  1. Do members want to discontinue activities for a month in the summer ?  The answer a resounding no - as supported by steady attendance (20-25 pax) throughout the current summer.
